Campsite was painted in the
early 1990's and depicts our campsite at Round Lake Campgrounds near Pembrook,
Ontario. The trailer and inhabitants are Bev's mother and father. The pup
tent was ours. Every morning Bev's father made porridge for all of us for
breakfast. We had a great time. At night I would have to get up sometimes
and when I did I would walk down to the lake shore to take in the quiet
misty lake and its surroundings with the moon overhead before coming back
to the camp. Some of my fondest memories are of being alone in the middle
of the night with the stars and moon overhead and a misty quiet lake in
front. It brings about a peacefullness that is hard to explain.
