Painted in 1998 and is the result of sitting in a forest north of Toronto known as Vivian Forest very early one morning. The bugs were bad as it was a warm summer day. I moved very quickly because of the bugs that were eating at me and eventually finished the painting in the studio back home. On the way home I came across a beautiful wolf near the pond, probably looking for his breakfast, a rare site so close to Toronto.
