This was painted in 1996. I was out on the lakefront at Bluffer's Park Marina in Toronto looking for a subject to paint early one Sunday morning when I came across a couple walking on the rocks. She had a nice white dress on that caught my eye. I asked her if I could paint her portrait and she was eager to have me do it. Here it is.
