A quick painting taking about
a half hour, it is pure imagination and I wanted to practice painting water
with reflections. It was painted in the late 90's using a pure white ground
applying colours without a medium while the ground was still wet.
The panel is the rough side
of masonite treated with gesso to produce a textured finish very much like
heavy canvas. This is a very durable but inexpensive board.
